Redshirts Review - Hottest Blackout in June!

The latest in Blackout Poetry, compliments of me and the unknowing Joe Johnston Turner, went a lot faster than my other blackouts. Is it Joe's well-executed vocabulary, or the frequent mentions of Star Trek?

Ah, summer is upon us and we travel far and wide for a taste of what it means to know water.
We loiter upon cervezas while trying to fry an egg on oppressive company.
All of these things win Pulitzer Prize hate mail distantly related to the leading lights of Wikipedia.
Classic observation: the original Star Trek was doomed to die,
Spoofed by the concept that people don't watch Star Trek.
The television universe takes his turn at bat.
The intrepid universal duty: to realize that everybody disappears
Because the last man standing inevitably gets aliens.
ALWAYS survive, and ALWAYS die.
Soon the savvier attempt to quest for intents and purposes lives
As Star Trek, satire, and the heart of a writer, a heart lost and found.
I love comic works and stars, both of which belong on your shelves.
Mainstream humorists won't be disappointed.

(Floor People Superstar Legend)

Incidentally I just saw a review with Gregg Allman saying "superstar" is one of his least favorite descriptive phrases for himself. He prefers "legend." Correction noted, Mr. Allman.
