After reading Austin Kleon's Steal Like an Artist, I was inspired to try my hand at blackout poetry. While I had no intention of creating poetry, it comes off like hilarious verse. Check out my session with BookPeople's newsletter, the Independent. If the blackout makes you dizzy, check out my transcription below with proper punctuation and all.

It should be universal.
It should capture North Korea.
The caricature of citizens will count against you.

Sure you can master it like a singer.
The photograph of small tomorrows was quite large,
And sideways lips pursed with drink,
Orphans weep with the photograph.
Allow comfort. Take the bottle.

Starving people like thrilling and outrageous style.
Similar work can confidently own relevant lists.
